Dirty White Trash - Life In The Redlight - Coming Soon to iTunes

Biography

Dirty White Trash are a leather clad, Jack Daniels swilling, 4 man sleaze machine.

Sin: With an attitude that reflects DWT on and off stage, combined with his distinctive nasal growl, Sin is the ultimate front-man extraordinaire.

Lyxx: Shredmaster Lyxx rips up the stage with earth shattering solos and crowd interaction. The ladies preference.

Thrusty: Ever heard DWT live? Ever heard that thumping, heart pounding, ass kicking bass? That's Thrusty; eternally kicking your head in with creamy bass loveliness.

Crash: As the name suggests, Crash likes beating things and loves getting cymbal happy. The solid backline to the DWT sound and the rhythm machine.

Dirty White Trash formed in 2007, comprising of 4 guys who where convinced the 80's weren't dead yet. Make the solo's a bit faster, amps a bit louder and drums and bit faster and you've got Dirty White Trash. Bringing back leather, inch by inch.

Excelling in skill, performance, attitude, Jack Daniels consumption and the ability to make leather clad girls remove their underwear, we guarantee to leave you feeling rocked, sleazy, breathless and panting for more

Lyxx - Guitar

Lyxx started playing guitar at the tender age of 14 influenced by bands such as ZZ Top, Dire Straits, Black Sabbath and Thin Lizzy.

A band and several years later, he discovered Motley Crue, and consequentially, the 80's. The time when it was acceptable to wear leather trousers and play ridiculously fast guitar.

Many hours of playing guitar, 2 bands, countless bottles of Jack Daniels and Marlboro lights and a £200 pair of leather trousers later, he re-emerged, a fully fledged, 80's shredder.

Thrusty

Thrusty - Bass

Thrusty started playing bass at the age of 15, after seeing friends playing guitar and drums on stage and wishing he could do the same. He always had an obsession with the Low end so playing bass was perfect.

He bought his first bass, started learning basic riffs and listening to different famous bands and watching his future idols in action. He attended music college and built on his already solid foundation. He played in various bands in this time, but none of them fulfilled his expectations.

After a year of nothing, he gets an email from Lyxx, who has just left another band and wants one with pure talent. They arrange a meeting with the original drummer from his other band and on that same night, the instrumental element was formed.

After 3 years of good gigs and solid song writing, the original drummer decided to part company and seek different avenues - Thrusty immediately thought of Crash, his childhood friend, one rehearsal later DWT had this new and bitchin' line-up.

Crash - Drums

Crash started playing drums at the age of 11 when he went round a friends house after school, spent 15 minutes on his drum kit and the rest is history!

He played a few local gigs in Essex when he was 17-18 but then work commitments took over and he left the band - since then he's jammed with a few bands but never found anyone worthy of his awesomeness!

Then along came Thrusty... His childhood friend... who informed him that Dirty White Trash were after a new drummer - one rehearsal later, DWT had their new drummer!
